The rapper Yang Hong-won's "following 0 incident," which he used to refute motel infidelity allegations, is being reexamined.
In the past, Yang Hong-won's YouTube channel "Yang Hong-won's parenting diary" contained a video titled "the full story of the following 0 incident." As Yang Hong-won recently faced infidelity allegations and replied by filing a complaint, this material has once again become a hot topic.
In the video, his wife, former model Won Hyun-ju, opened by saying, "I became a really strange person." Earlier, Yang Hong-won had conducted a live broadcast and lamented, "Why did you clear the follows? My girlfriend told me to delete them all. I'm having a hard time too," he said.
Regarding this, Won Hyun-ju recalled, "At that time we were going through conflicts, so communication and conversation were not smooth," and explained, "My request was not to delete all followers but to delete only those girls who, seeing you as a man, would pester you — you know, the ones who are obvious."
She added, "Because he (Yang Hong-won) also has to work, and even while working there are women, (women who approach him privately, not for work) I meant just 'delete those kinds of women.' But in our conflict it was conveyed like that."
Then Yang Hong-won said, "I was like, 'If that's the case, why not delete them all?' so I (deleted them all)," he said.
Won Hyun-ju said, "Anyway, I did that. I saw this when we had broken up, and I was so furious I said, 'Are you crazy?'" and briefly said she learned of the matter when they had broken up. Yang Hong-won revealed his feelings, saying, "It was part of a plan to see you again." Then Won Hyun-ju responded, "Right, I guess so. You plan well," showing agreement.
Recently Yang Hong-won has been embroiled in controversy after being accused of infidelity five days after his wedding. The two registered their marriage in 2023 and have a daughter born in 2024. However, five days after the wedding, on the 23rd, a person claiming to be an acquaintance of Yang Hong-won, A, raised infidelity allegations on social media, saying Yang Hong-won went to a motel with another woman about three to four weeks before the wedding. In response, agency AP Alchemy acknowledged that Yang Hong-won accompanied the woman to the motel but denied the infidelity allegation.
