Theborn Korea said on its official website on the 15th, “We feel a heavy sense of responsibility regarding recent inappropriate behavior by an employee from a regional project and hygiene management at festival sites. We are pushing for a fundamental innovation in our organizational culture and work systems. We prioritize ethical management and food safety, implementing reforms across our internal systems and external sites.
A representative noted, “Theborn Korea will go beyond just an apology and clarification. We are determined to fulfill our responsibilities as a publicly listed company and restore trust by committing to innovation. We will thoroughly improve all the issues that have been raised intensively this year and definitely emerge anew.”
Baek Jong-won previously posted an apology on Theborn Korea's website in March, saying, “I sincerely apologize for causing concern to many due to several issues related to Theborn Korea, which I represent.”

• Establishment of an audit organization and activation of external publicity and communication systems
We plan to establish an audit and risk management dedicated organization under the CEO to ensure transparency and rigor in all internal activities.
At the same time, we will establish a public relations team responsible for responsible communication with external parties.
• Innovation of organizational culture and strengthening of employee responsibilities
The employee from the regional project who was recently involved in problems has been immediately excluded from work and is undergoing a thorough investigation by an external organization. We will take strict action based on the results.
Additionally, we will promptly implement intensive training programs aimed at raising ethical awareness and a sense of responsibility among all employees.
• Comprehensive overhaul of food safety and hygiene management systems
We have immediately activated a dedicated department to oversee food safety and hygiene and quality management, supplementing this with external experts to redesign all processes from scratch.
We will strengthen safety certification procedures for all cooking equipment and food processing processes, and comprehensively improve refrigerated and frozen transport and storage facilities to create a festival platform that meets safety standards.
