Seo Kang-jun has been arrested on charges of murdering Lee Seo-hwan.
In the 11th episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' (planned by Nam Goong-seong-woo, written by Lim Young-bin, directed by Choi Jeong-in, hereafter 'Under School'), Jeong Hae-seong (played by Seo Kang-jun) faced an extreme crisis of being pushed into a murderer overnight. That day's viewer ratings recorded 6.3% based on Nielsen Korea's metropolitan household criteria and 6.0% nationally. Notably, the scene where Hae-seong's transport vehicle, arrested on charges of murdering Director Kim, rolled over rose to 10.3%, amplifying dramatic tension. Additionally, the 2049 rating, a key indicator of channel competitiveness and popularity, recorded 2.2%, attracting significant interest from drama fans.
In yesterday's broadcast, Myung-joo (played by Kim Shin-rok) entered the underground passage beneath the statue in search of gold bullion when the door opened. However, there was not even a trace of the gold bullion underground, which angered Myung-joo significantly. After discovering his father's skeletal remains underground, Hae-seong found a bullet there. An analysis revealed that the firearm was one used only by the National Intelligence Service team leader 22 years ago, and a record of Director Kim (played by Lee Seo-hwan) reporting the loss of a cartridge at that time was captured, causing Hae-seong to become enraged.
He stormed into the hotel room where Director Kim was staying, aimed a gun, and questioned him about the bullets found on his father's body. While the two were engaged in a fierce scuffle, security personnel entered and dragged Hae-seong out. Oh Soo-ah (played by Jin Ki-joo) and the National Intelligence Service's Domestic Team 4 urgently chased after Hae-seong, but he was already being dragged by security personnel. After a struggle with the security personnel, Domestic Team 4 managed to help Hae-seong escape safely.
Meanwhile, Hae-seong began to suspect Myung-joo. The discovery of his father's notebook and death all occurred at Byungmun Hospital, and both Myung-joo and Director Kim were involved in the operation, leading to suspicion falling on Myung-joo. Additionally, after implanting wiretaps and location tracking in Director Kim's mobile phone, Hae-seong heard shocking news. One day in the past, while his father, Myung-joo, Director Kim, and Park Jae-mun (played by Park Jin-woo) were meeting, Myung-joo shot and killed his father during a scuffle.
On the other hand, when Hae-seong went to meet Director Kim, he discovered Kim bleeding and collapsed in the car. Just as he was shocked, someone struck Hae-seong on the head, causing him to lose consciousness. This way, Hae-seong became embroiled in false charges of murdering Director Kim and was arrested, as the plot thickened. Furthermore, Hae-seong and Myung-joo had an uncompromising nerve war in the interrogation room, heightening the tension.
At the end of the broadcast, Hae-seong fought with police while being moved in a transport vehicle and suddenly collided with a car that had appeared from the opposite side, overturning. Hae-seong managed to struggle out of the car, pulled the key from the pocket of a detective, and freed himself from the handcuffs to escape. He then called Soo-ah from a payphone, saying, "I'm sorry, Soo-ah, but I need your help," before fainting, raising curiosity about the final episode to its highest level.
In this way, in episode 11 of 'Undercover High School', Hae-seong revealed the truth about his father's death. However, during his pursuit of Myung-joo, he was wrongfully accused of murder, bringing the dramatic tension to its peak. How Hae-seong will protect himself and survive in the final episode and what fate awaits Myung-joo forecasted an unpredictable development until the end.
