NCT member Jaehyun performed good deeds by donating 100 million won even while serving in the military.
The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 28th that member Jaehyun of the group NCT donated 100 million won for the restoration of areas affected by wildfires and support for victims.
Jaehyun said, "I hope the wildfires are extinguished as soon as possible so that our neighbors affected can return to their peaceful daily lives," and noted, "I hope more people can join together for the exhausted firefighters and our neighbors going through tough times."
The donation will be used for emergency support for residents in wildfire-affected areas such as Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam, providing relief supplies, and operating temporary shelters.
Through this donation, Jaehyun was appointed as a member of the "Hope Bridge Honors Club," a gathering of individual major donors, and he committed to pay more attention to supporting disaster-affected neighbors and vulnerable groups in the future while working to spread the culture of sharing.
Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon expressed gratitude, stating, "We sincerely appreciate Jaehyun's warm generosity," and added, "We will do our best to assist the victims on site so that the sentiments you sent can provide practical support to our neighbors in need."
Meanwhile, Hope Bridge is currently providing over 420,000 relief supplies, including relief kits, partitioned shelters, blankets, daily necessities, water, and food, to the wildfire-affected areas, and various on-site relief activities, including laundry support in shelters, are ongoing. Additionally, meals are being provided for firefighters and on-site firefighting personnel deployed to the area.
