Actor Kim Soo-hyun has fallen into a difficult situation from which he cannot escape. Whether he acknowledges or denies the underage relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron, he finds himself in a difficult situation, and he is facing further challenges as shocking videos have been revealed.

On the 27th, attorney Bujee-seok, the legal representative for the late Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family from Law Firm Buyou, held a press conference on behalf of the family at the Space Share Gangnam Station Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, where he presented evidence regarding Kim Soo-hyun's relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron during her underage years.

Earlier, the bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron claimed that she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun since the age of 15 for six years. In particular, the Garosero Research Institute, with the family's consent, revealed photos believed to be taken during the time when the late Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun were dating. Kim Soo-hyun's side acknowledged that they did date but claimed that they were only together for a year after she became an adult, asserting that they did not date while she was underage.

Amid the growing concerns of an underage relationship and the so-called grooming allegations, the bereaved family secured mobile messages exchanged between the two through forensic analysis as evidence. The conversations released included content that suggested Kim Sae-ron, who was 17 years old in 2016, was in a romantic relationship, going beyond just being close friends. Attorney Bujee-seok stated that they currently hold the original messages through forensic analysis and restructured the KakaoTalk messages to protect personal information.

When Kim Sae-ron sent a KakaoTalk message asking Kim Soo-hyun, "Do you want to see me or not?" Kim Soo-hyun replied, "You? You wouldn’t want to see me, would you?" When Kim Sae-ron reiterated, "I don’t know! If I don’t say anything, you won’t know. I don’t know," Kim Soo-hyun affectionately replied, "You're cute for asking that." Kim Soo-hyun then texted, "I want to see you, I want to see you," and when Kim Sae-ron sent an emoticon saying, "Add more," he replied, "I want to see you, haha."

Another KakaoTalk conversation further indicates their relationship. In that chat, Kim Soo-hyun said, "When can I hold you and fall asleep? Then I think I could really sleep well," to which Kim Sae-ron responded, "Sure, I’ll allow that." Kim Soo-hyun continued, "Hmm, how about… maybe a year?" and then joked, "Three years? Haha," to which Kim Sae-ron replied, "One year is too long, and three years?!" Kim Soo-hyun responded, "One year's too long? How about six months?"

Additionally, when Kim Sae-ron left a message that said, "♥ side," Kim Soo-hyun replied, "Do it for real later… haha. Is this forbidden? ..ㅠㅠ" to which Kim Sae-ron replied, "No, it’s not forbidden, haha. I’ll do it," and Kim Soo-hyun responded, "Yay! Haha." Regarding this, attorney Bujee-seok stated, "If this relationship did not indicate a dating relationship, I want to ask Kim Soo-hyun. At that time, Kim Sae-ron was 17 years old."

Another document disclosed by the bereaved family is a letter that the late Kim Sae-ron wrote in April last year after receiving a content certification. The published handwritten letter revealed, "The period we have been together has been approximately five to six years. It has been both my first love and last love, so I hope you won’t avoid me," which supports the family's claim of a relationship from 2015 to their breakup in 2021. The attorney said, "I tried to deliver it in early April last year after receiving the certification, but I could not because the apartment is a place that cannot be accessed by anyone."

Attorney Bujee-seok, when asked if there would be additional evidence released if Kim Soo-hyun's side continues to deny the underage relationship, responded, "If they announce that they did not date, then looking at the KakaoTalk messages, does that indicate 'grooming sexual offenses'? They did not date. Can we no longer respond?"

Meanwhile, the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute conducted a live broadcast titled "[Exclusive Shock] Pedophilic Pervert Kim Soo-hyun (Video Release)." The Garosero side claimed that Kim Soo-hyun sent a video that appeared to have been filmed in Paris, France, to the late Kim Sae-ron, asking, "Does this seem like an appropriate video for you to judge?" and shared a short clip.

In the released video, a man believed to be Kim Soo-hyun said, "I am a YouTuber, Kim. I am in front of the underwear store display," while filming a mannequin displayed on the store's counter. A raw conversation followed, and the content was shocking. The video was damaging to Kim Soo-hyun's image.

Despite the family's claims, Kim Soo-hyun's side has maintained its position that they did date, but only for a year after the deceased became an adult. Especially as the accusations continued, they took legal action against the Garosero side and unidentified individuals claiming to be the aunt of the late Kim Sae-ron for charges related to violations of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (Use of Cameras) and dissemination.
