Heechul from '20th Century Hit Song' made a surprising announcement that he is getting married.

During the 258th episode of KBS Joy's '20th Century Hit Song' aired on the 28th, the program was themed 'April Fools' Special! 21st Century Hit Song,' introducing hit songs from singers who were active from 2001 to 2010.

In the opening that day, Heechul noted, "I think I need to greet you seriously today," and revealed the surprising marriage news by saying, "I, Heechul, am finally getting married."

Miju was also surprised, saying, "You're finally getting married. Congratulations, really." However, Heechul quickly clarified, "Everyone, it's a joke," revealing it was all in fun. He added, "Today is April 1st, April Fools'. I used to play this sort of prank often in the past."

Meanwhile, announcer Oh Hyo-joo, who replaced Lee Dong-geun, who departed for a business trip to Dubai, announced, "I have been appointed as a fixed member of 'Hit Song' from today." Heechul chimed in, saying, "Everyone, it's not April Fools' Day," causing laughter.

On the other hand, last year, Heechul had also declared that he would hold a mysterious wedding on 'My Little Old Boy.' He remarked, "I wanted to break the stereotype that the groom must wear a black tuxedo," surprising his mother by appearing in a bright red tuxedo.

He even introduced, "This is my bride, whom I will love for a lifetime, whom I love." It turned out to be himself. He re-emphasized, "I am serious. Today's bride, the one I love so much, is myself," drawing attention with a 'sologamy' wedding with himself.
