Comedian Lee Seung-yoon donated funds for wildfire damage recovery.

On the 25th, Lee Seung-yoon disclosed on his personal social media account that he donated 10 million won through the Disaster Relief Association.

Lee Seung-yoon noted, "Many evacuees have arisen due to the wildfire, and there are serious situations such as casualties. Our precious nature is still burning. Although it's a small gesture, I hope it helps."

Lee Seung-yoon has been active as a Hope Bridge ambassador since 2020, consistently participating in donations and volunteer activities. He has been appointed as a member of the "Honors Club," a group created by Hope Bridge to honor individual donors who have contributed more than 100 million won. Since starting his donations for the 2019 Gangwon Province wildfire, Lee Seung-yoon has engaged in sharing whenever disasters such as flooding, wildfires, and earthquakes have occurred.

Having donated a cumulative total of 113 million won over 13 instances, Lee Seung-yoon expressed warm sentiments once again. Prior to Lee Seung-yoon, Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Hye-young, Chun Woo-hee, and Yoo Byung-jae also contributed relief funds.

Meanwhile, as of 5 a.m. on the 25th, the area affected by the wildfire in Uiseong, North Gyeongsang Province, which has been burning for the fourth day, has increased to 12,565 ha. According to forest authorities, the scale of this wildfire damage is assessed to be the third largest in history.
