Amid ongoing conflicts regarding the King of Singers nationwide tour concert, nCH has filed a criminal complaint against Krea Studio's CEO, Seo Hye-jin.

On the 25th, nCH stated in an official position that the company contracted with Krea Studio (CEO Seo Hye-jin) for the production of King of Singers 2 in March 2024 for the concert and management business, and that a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the contract between the two parties is currently underway, with no court ruling yet issued, so the business rights for the King of Singers 2 concert also belong to the company.

It continued, "However, Krea is proceeding with a concert business contract for King of Singers 2 with another entertainment company in October 2024, and is currently pressing ahead with the nationwide tour concert, selling tickets for concerts in various local areas, including Seoul."

nCH stated, "Despite a trial regarding the validity of the contract being ongoing, it is a clear violation of contract, such as double contracting, to unilaterally enter into a contract with a third party and forcefully carry out the performance before a conclusion has been reached, and this is an act of deceiving the law while the trial is ongoing."

It added, "nCH has been proactive in helping Krea to provide opportunities for the participants of King of Singers 1 to make a name for themselves and advance into Japan. However, Krea suddenly notified us of the termination of the contract with the company that has been cooperating, unilaterally voiding the contract that was established by mutual agreement, and has ignored both the law and the procedures defined by it. As a result, too many victims in both Korea and Japan, including us at nCH, have emerged, and the damage continues to escalate."

Ultimately, nCH announced a criminal complaint in relation to this matter. nCH stated, "We have filed a criminal complaint against Krea Studio's Seo Hye-jin for obstruction of business and for violating the Specific Economic Crimes Weighted Punishment Act (breach of trust) regarding concert losses amounting to 7.8 billion won, and a police investigation is currently in progress." It also said, "In addition, we will actively inform and clarify the injustice by initiating legal measures, including seizure, regarding Krea's unreasonable concert enforcement and double contracting."

Official statement from nCH Entertainment

Hello, this is nCH Entertainment.

We present our position regarding the King of Singers 2 nationwide tour concert.

We contracted with Krea Studio (CEO Seo Hye-jin) for the production of King of Singers 2 in March 2024 for the concert and management business, and a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the contract between the two parties is currently underway, with no court ruling yet issued, so the business rights for the King of Singers 2 concert also belong to the company.

However, Krea is proceeding with a concert business contract for King of Singers 2 with another entertainment company in October 2024, and is currently pressing ahead with the nationwide tour concert, selling tickets for concerts in various local areas, including Seoul.

Despite a trial regarding the validity of the contract being ongoing, it is a clear violation of contract, such as double contracting, to unilaterally enter into a contract with a third party and forcefully carry out the performance before a conclusion has been reached.

nCH has been proactive in helping Krea to provide opportunities for the participants of King of Singers 1 to make a name for themselves and advance into Japan. In addition, responding to CEO Seo Hye-jin's ongoing request to help realize the Korea-Japan national representative competition, the company has supported Krea extensively, including making efforts for members produced through 'Trot Girls Japan' to participate in the Korea-Japan national representative competition over three years.

However, Krea suddenly notified us of the termination of the contract with the company that has been cooperating and unilaterally voided the contract established by mutual agreement, while also ignoring the law and the procedures defined by it. This manner of conducting business by Krea has caused numerous victims in both Korea and Japan, including us at nCH, and the damage continues to grow.

In response, nCH filed a criminal complaint against Krea Studio's Seo Hye-jin for obstruction of business and for violating the Specific Economic Crimes Weighted Punishment Act (breach of trust) regarding concert losses amounting to 7.8 billion won, and a police investigation is currently underway.

Furthermore, we will actively inform and clarify the injustice regarding Krea's unreasonable concert enforcement and double contracting by initiating legal measures, including seizure.
