J-Hope raised expectations for the full comeback of BTS.
On the 23rd, a video titled "One by one, the BTS members are discharged... Hop, you have plans, right!?!???" was uploaded on the 'Yeojeongjaehyeong' channel.
That day, J-Hope explained regarding the release of his solo song, "I've been thinking that I want to quickly share a good song with the fans, so I prepared everything as a single project this year."
Jung Jae-hyung asked, "Who are you collaborating with for this album?" J-Hope replied, "I worked with an artist named MIGUEL, and during my audition preparation, I used his music and practiced dancing to his songs. He is an artist I listened to a lot when I was young, and we shared a good connection, resulting in a collaborative song. There is another single, which I will probably debut onstage in New York."
Then Jung Jae-hyung asked, "But you have time this year, right? Namjoon is still in the army, and all the kids are still in the army, right?" J-Hope revealed, "I will be discharged in June."
In response, Jung Jae-hyung expressed, "Oh, you guys have already planned everything. You guys are already making moves, right?" and showed his anticipation for the full group. J-Hope laughed and said, "We need to do it meticulously. There has to be some careful planning." Jung Jae-hyung asked, "That's great! So what will come out right after you discharge?" and J-Hope forecasted, "I think we will prepare various BTS-related activities right after I am discharged."
In particular, Jung Jae-hyung mentioned, "Even Namjoon knows when he is going to release an album. You even released an album while you were in the army, didn't you? So, it’s hard to say that someone went to the army when there were so many albums during that time filled with content."
J-Hope stated, "It seems that each member has a strong desire for music. But I really like that. It gives us good influence on each other. Did you express it so magnificently? I should do it too. Personally, I think there should be a gift-like album when entering the army. But I think everyone feels the same way. So as we work, I noticed that this gets meticulously organized and aligned in the albums."
Jung Jae-hyung commented, "Outside of the overall schedule where BTS must operate, it seems really nice that we can constantly push each other's desires in between that." J-Hope shared his struggle by saying, "That makes it difficult because it’s seven members. Timing becomes really tough to navigate. Each of the seven has such different preferences, and now each of their styles have developed, and everyone wants their own timing, making it really hard to coordinate things."
Then Jung Jae-hyung replied, "It’s tough, but I think it’s a very meaningful endeavor. If you fight over that in a group album, there’s no answer. Isn't that why all groups have broken up in the past?" J-Hope responded, "I will keep that in mind."
Jung Jae-hyung praised, "I intend to make this kind of music; however, I need to experiment. If I don’t try, I will only have dreams and desires, and I think it can definitely happen. But I believe it’s important for each person to explore in their own field, and I think it’s really cool that everyone wants to do that in their own albums."
