Despite the court's provisional ruling, NewJeans members are not relinquishing the NJZ name and their social media channels.

The members left a farewell message saying, "Thank you, Bunnies. I’ll be back safely" through their NJZ social media account on the 22nd. It seems they greeted fans in front of an 'NJZ advertisement' billboard ahead of their departure for the Hong Kong Complex concert scheduled for the 23rd.

NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Daniel, Haerin, and HAEIN held an emergency press conference last November, claiming that ADOR violated their exclusive contract, and unilaterally declared the termination of the contract. Recently, they have taken unilateral actions, such as officially announcing the new team name 'NJZ' through NJZ's official social media channels.

In response, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Affairs Division 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) accepted the urgent request filed by ADOR against the five members of NewJeans for a 'provisional injunction to maintain the status of the agency and prohibit the signing of advertising contracts' and issued a ruling on the 21st. They stated that "without prior approval or consent from ADOR, they must not engage in entertainment activities by themselves (including legal representatives) or through third parties."

As a result, the members' new name 'NJZ' as well as their independent activities have been hindered. Entertainment activities are prohibited without prior approval or consent from ADOR, whether by themselves (including legal representatives) or through third parties. The valid period lasts until before the first instance ruling on the lawsuit filed by ADOR for the confirmation of the validity of the exclusive contract against NewJeans.

Despite this situation, the members are holding on to the NJZ name and social media channels. The fans, who are also concerned about their wayward actions, are worried despite the court's provisional ruling.

In response, Minji, Hanni, Daniel, Haerin, and HAEIN stated through social media, "We, NJZ, respect the court's decision. However, that decision does not fully consider that the members' trust in ADOR has completely collapsed," and added, "We plan to contest additional issues regarding the provisional ruling through the appeal process."
