As the court has put the members of the group New Jeans' independent activities on hold, the members revealed their honest feelings through their first media interview.

On the 22nd, a solo interview conducted by five members of New Jeans with Time magazine was released. According to the article, the members expressed that they were "disappointed" with the court's ruling and added that they did not expect that the issues in the K-pop industry would change overnight.

The members further stated, "Compared to everything we have experienced until now, this is just another stage in our journey. Perhaps this is the current reality in Korea. But that is precisely why we believe in the need for change and growth."

They added, "It feels as if Korea wants to make us revolutionaries."

Earlier, on the 21st, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Division 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hun) made a decision to grant ADOR's application for an injunction against the five members of New Jeans (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, HAEIN) regarding the preservation of their agency status and the prohibition of advertising contracts.

The court ruled, "Based solely on the claims and evidence submitted by the debtors (the five members of New Jeans), it is difficult to conclude that the creditor (ADOR) violated significant obligations under the exclusive contract in this case, or that a reason for termination has arisen, or that the mutual trust relationship has been irreparably damaged."

As a result, the members' new name "NJZ," as well as their independent activities, have been blocked. Activities without ADOR's prior approval or consent, whether by themselves (including legal representatives) or through a third party, are prohibited.

In response to the ruling, ADOR stated, "We deeply appreciate the wise judgment of the injunction court. Since ADOR has legally confirmed its status as the agency of New Jeans, we will take full responsibility for supporting the artists in the future. We intend to provide sufficient support on-site to ensure that the performance at ComplexCon this weekend proceeds under the name of New Jeans, which belongs to ADOR," but New Jeans responded, "We, NJZ, respect the court's decision. However, this decision did not fully take into account the fact that the members' trust in ADOR has completely broken down."

The members plan to contest the injunction decision, stating, "We will supplement evidentiary materials as much as possible during the process. A lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract between ADOR and the members is also ongoing, and we will clarify once again that the contract was legally terminated at the scheduled trial date of April 3."

Regarding this, ADOR expressed to Time magazine, "We regret that this issue has expanded to court," stating that the 'misunderstanding' caused by previous management of the label can be "completely resolved when the members return to the label."

However, the members are currently in a situation where they are resolving business issues independently. Hanni refuted rumors of having contracted with a new label, saying, "We are looking for an agency that can help us. We are seeking a third party that can communicate with others."

Meanwhile, New Jeans has decided to participate as scheduled in the Complex concert taking place in Hong Kong on the 23rd. The members stated, "We made the decision to participate necessarily to prevent causing issues for the fans and many stakeholders who are looking forward to the concert," and ADOR expressed, "We intend to provide sufficient support on-site to ensure that this performance proceeds under the name of New Jeans, which belongs to ADOR."
