Seon Woo-jae-deok and Oh Young-sil from 'Catch the Big Luck' showcase their chemistry as a happy couple.
Set to premiere on April 7 at 8:30 p.m., the new daily drama 'Catch the Big Luck' (written by Son Ji-hye, directed by Park Man-young and Lee Hae-woo) on KBS 1TV depicts the tumultuous growth stories of three friends who are wealthy, broke, and aspiring to be rich, along with their families.
Seon Woo-jae-deok plays Kim Dae-sik, the generous owner of a fried chicken restaurant, and Oh Young-sil portrays Lee Hye-sook, Dae-sik's loving wife and mother of their three children. Despite their financial struggles as tenants of Moo-cheol, the couple has raised their children with dedicated love and deep trust. However, due to the landlord Moo-cheol raising the security deposit, Dae-sik and Hye-sook face bankruptcy.
The stills released today (21st) capture Seon Woo-jae-deok and Oh Young-sil as a loving couple. Wearing hats and sunglasses, the two appear to be cautious of their surroundings as if executing a secret mission. The determined expressions on Dae-sik, with clenched fists, and Hye-sook, who tightly clings to her husband’s arm with a tense demeanor, exude seriousness. It raises curiosity about the story behind their transformation into a suspicious couple.
In another still, Dae-sik struggles to secure the store's security deposit. His slumped shoulders and vacant eyes reflect the heavy responsibility he carries to protect his family. Seon Woo-jae-deok's passionate portrayal of the Kim Dae-sik character is expected to leave viewers deeply moved and with lingering emotions.
On the other hand, Hye-sook finds herself in an awkward situation at a reunion. She ends up in a nerve-wracking confrontation with her former rival Lee Mi-ja (played by Lee Ah-hyun). Hye-sook faces a provocation from the landlord's wife, Mi-ja, while standing at the checkout counter, only to be met with the shocking news from an employee that her card transaction has been halted. Attention focuses on whether Hye-sook can navigate this crisis safely in front of her friends. Oh Young-sil, who promises a unique couple chemistry with Seon Woo-jae-deok, is set to portray the realistic life of a loving but tough K-wife and mother through her acting.
