Beatboxer Wing (Kim Gun-ho) talked about Park Bo-gum.
On the broadcast of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' on the 19th, world-class beatboxer Kim Gun-ho (Wing) grants that he served in the military with actor Park Bo-gum.
Kim Gun-ho noted that he has recently been composing using beatbox and shared updates on his activities with a crew called Beat Pella House. Kim Gun-ho also unveiled the You Quiz logo song created with Beat Pella House members, capturing attention.
Kim Gun-ho said, "When I was in elementary school, my cousin was beatboxing, and I thought it was really cool. I asked him to teach me, but he didn't. I practiced by searching the Internet." This drew attention as he mentioned he has been beatboxing for 16 years.
Kim Gun-ho said, "Before, I did it as a hobby, but in my second year of high school, I won a national competition. I thought it would be better to go all in since I won, even though I started as a hobby." He added, "I told my parents I wanted to do beatbox. They said I should finish college first."
Kim Gun-ho said, "I studied hard during my third year of high school and got accepted to Soongsil University. I originally planned to just get accepted and not attend. But my parents told me to go and learn about society. I attended for a year and then started going to world competitions."
Kim Gun-ho said, "When I became the Korean champion, I was told there would be many kids in Asia who were better than me. After I became the Asian champion, they started talking about the world competition. But this time, when I said I would appear on You Quiz, they changed my profile picture," which made everyone laugh.
On this day, Kim Gun-ho shared his connection with actor Park Bo-gum, with whom he served in the Navy publicity corps. Kim Gun-ho said, "When I was a sergeant, Bo-gum came in as a private, and we were together for about a week. I wanted to show him beatboxing, so I called him over to demonstrate," eliciting laughter.
Kim Gun-ho said, "He really praised me, saying he noticed my hard work and that it was impressive." He mentioned, "After getting discharged, I didn't reach out first because I was worried it would be burdensome, but thankfully, he contacted me first." He noted that their connection continues even now.
