Actor Noh Joo-hyun disclosed his experience as a victim of voice phishing.

On the 17th, a video titled "Noh Joo-hyun becomes a target of voice phishing & a trip to Seoul" was uploaded on Noh Joo-hyun's YouTube channel.

The video features Noh Joo-hyun starting his statement by saying, "I was deceived. So, the advice to turn back when in a hurry is correct," along with a subtitle from the production team that reads "a shocking story heard days later."

Noh Joo-hyun revealed his experience as a victim of voice phishing, stating, "They said they provide support for small businesses. I applied online, and a month later, I received a call saying I passed the inspection and that the process was underway."

He said, "Business has not been good from November, December, January, and even through February. Cash flow has been extremely tight. Since I qualify as a small business owner, I started to contemplate that."

He further explained, "The tricky part is, they asked if I had another loan. When I said I did, they claimed to have received a call from my existing bank. They said they were trying to convert to a lower interest rate for us, but it turned out to be a violation of financial transaction regulations, and just as they were about to grant financial assistance, the bank blocked it, and that's how it all started."

He also noted, "So they said I had to repay that money quickly for them to send the funds. I thought it was strange, and then I got deceived. This is unavoidable. So, I reported everything to the FSS and also to the police station. I made all the payments. People are in a hurry, so I ended up taking the bait with regret."
