SBS entertainment show 'Spirited Love 2' has been swept up in a major aftermath triggered by the first-come-first-served date involving MZ fortune tellers.
On the 18th, in the 4th episode of 'Spirited Love 2' (directed by Lee Eun-sol), the dizzying situations and inner thoughts of nine MZ fortune tellers were depicted as they faced the aftermath of the first-come-first-served date following their first date. On this day, shaman Jang Ho-am enjoyed a first-come-first-served date with shaman Chae Yu-gyeong, shaman Jeong Hyun-woo had a date with shaman Lee Ra-yoon, tarot reader Yoon Sang-hyeok was paired with astrologer Kim Yoon-jeong, and shaman Lee Kang-won spent the date with saju Hong Yu-ra, while the saju Ha Byeong-yeol, who couldn't find a partner, watched over the Spirited House alone.
Throughout the date, Yoon Sang-hyeok went so far as to bring a lap blanket for Kim Yoon-jeong, and while slowing down the car for her to take pictures, he said, "I’ll drive slowly, so take the picture. Be careful with your phone," displaying gentlemanly manners that caught attention. In response, Yoo In-na said, "Is he really that attentive?" while Lalal remarked, "Love is hidden in every word he says," expressing excitement. Especially after returning to the Spirited House, he showed his caring side by personally preparing lemon tea for Kim Yoon-jeong, who was showing signs of poor condition from the date, which captivated everyone’s attention. Above all, Yoon Sang-hyeok is the golden dragon of Leo and Kim Yoon-jeong’s fated partner, and he expressed his true feelings by saying, "I feel like I can be more excited and like her deeply," which draws interest in how the two will build their relationship.
On this day, Jang Ho-am especially drew the MCs' attention with his relentless bulldozer flirting towards Chae Yu-gyeong. Before starting the date, he brought an affinity talisman to attract the person he liked, and when Chae Yu-gyeong asked if there’s anyone he wanted to create a connection with in the Spirited House, he admitted, "I've had a continuous interest in someone. I feel like we match well," and confessed, "I want to keep seeing her after we leave." In response, Yoo Seon-ho said, "Ho-am’s lines are truly gem-like," while Yoo In-na praised, "That's straightforward." Eventually, Jang Ho-am’s exhilarating confession, "I'm following my heart right now. I asked Yu-gyeong out today because I’m worried someone else might ask her out," made Chae Yu-gyeong smile and say, "It feels like I'm breaking down. Isn't it too casual to say something that makes only me excited?" The MCs then cheered and gave Jang Ho-am the nickname 'Hugh Ho-am' and 'Ho-am Hugh.'
This isn't the end. Jang Ho-am attached meaning to every situation by saying, "I was happiest on this date with Yu-gyeong," and "It seems like we were meant to date," expressing his fluttering feelings. Especially during the meal, when he joked to Chae Yu-gyeong, "I heard that ‘it's more delicious to eat with salt’ means ‘it's more delicious to eat with Ho-am,’" Yoo In-na shook her head and said, "This is too far gone," as Jang Ho-am’s masculine charm as a flirting runaway train truly raised the viewers' dopamine.
On the other hand, a rift developed between Lee Kang-won and Lee Ra-yoon, creating tension. Earlier, Lee Kang-won felt unable to approach Lee Ra-yoon due to something he said, leading to their date being aborted. In a subsequent interview with the production team, Lee Kang-won confessed, "Honestly, I felt like all my emotional connections were severed. I wanted to deny it and regretted, 'Am I really someone who can only do this much? Why couldn't I be more honest?'" Contrary to his distress, Lee Ra-yoon and Jeong Hyun-woo quickly became close from the start of their date. Especially through discussions about fortune-telling, schedules, and relating to each other, they built a bond, and when Jeong Hyun-woo’s fork broke during the meal, Lee Ra-yoon laughed, saying, "You’re teasing me, so it seems my grandmother is angry." In response, Jeong Hyun-woo playfully shot back, "It seems the commander is having a hard time," radiating unique chemistry.
Ultimately, after returning to the Spirited House, Lee Kang-won expressed, "Seeing (Ra-yoon and Hyun-woo's) relationship strengthen made me feel upset, angry, and bittersweet," regretting his lack of honest boldness towards Lee Ra-yoon. This upheaval in the love lines surrounding Lee Kang-won, Lee Ra-yoon, Jeong Hyun-woo, and Hong Yu-ra raises tension while forming quadrilateral relationships in their active changes to capture each other's hearts, enhancing the viewers' immersion.
Towards the end, the voting results of the third day in the Shinmyeongdang test revealed that astrologer Kim Yoon-jeong did not choose tarot reader Yoon Sang-hyeok, creating a shocking twist. Additionally, Lee Kang-won and Lee Ra-yoon each went on dates with Hong Yu-ra and Jeong Hyun-woo, but both chose each other, drawing attention. Lee Kang-won stated, "What I wanted was Ra-yoon," while Lee Ra-yoon remarked, "(After the date) Kang-won’s anxiety is hard to overlook. Isn’t there already a growing emotion?" maintaining a strong heart. Meanwhile, Chae Yu-gyeong noted, "(With Ho-am) we really match well. Dating a shaman seems really fun. It might even be more enjoyable and comfortable," and Jang Ho-am confessed, "Right now, it's just Yu-gyeong," raising curiosity about how much their relationship will progress.
