Actor Lim Won-hee expressed his thoughts on family.
On the episode aired on 18th, Channel S Original 'Lim Won-hee's Gourmet Delivery Person' featured MC Lim Won-hee and Din Din heading to an izakaya.
While they were enjoying a food broadcast, Lim Won-hee asked Din Din, 'My nephew Niccolo is so cute. Don’t you think about wanting to have kids when you see your nephew?'
In response, Din Din stated, 'It's half and half. In fact, when my nephew was born, we couldn't communicate at all. The transition is that when he was born, he was so pretty and cute. After about three years, we started to communicate. What’s good is good, what’s bad is bad, and he talks to me. So, it seems like something has melted. At this point, I thought I could raise him, but he has so much energy. So, I'm thinking that if I want to have a kid, I need to have one soon. That's why it's half and half.'
Hearing this, Lim Won-hee advised, 'If you're going to have kids, it seems better to have them sooner rather than later. From my experience, the right answer is to have them when you have the chance. If you keep thinking and hesitating, you'll reach my age.'
Din Din then asked, 'So, do you think about having children if the opportunity arises now, Hyung?' Lim Won-hee replied, 'I'm also half and half. If I have a child now, when they turn 20, how old will I be? If I live past 80, I will still need to earn money.'
Then Din Din remarked, 'Jong-min Hyung mentioned that too. He said if he has a kid, he’ll be 70 when they go to college,' referring to Kim Jong-min, who is about to get married. Lim Won-hee dismissed the concern, stating, 'Jong-min is much younger. He worries too much.'
Continuing, Din Din said, 'Looking at Jong-min, I think I still have plenty of time.' Lim Won-hee emphasized, 'Still, I think if you can go for it, and if you find a good woman, it’s better to marry quickly and have kids.'
Born in 1970, Lim Won-hee is 54 years old this year. He married a woman 10 years younger after a two-year relationship in 2011 but announced his divorce two years later in 2013.
