Actor Kim Soo-hyun is embroiled in allegations of a romantic relationship during the late Kim Sae-ron’s minor years, amidst claims that Park Seo Jun has targeted Kim Soo-hyun.

On the 17th, the ‘Garoseoro Research Institute’ (abbreviated as Gaseyeon) mentioned Park Seo Jun’s past social media posts during a live broadcast.

On the 16th, Park Seo Jun posted photos seemingly taken in Paris on his personal social media with the caption, “What was I doing in Paris? Garo.” Regarding this, the Gaseyeon claimed, “This is very significant. Kim Soo-hyun’s nickname is ‘YouTuber Kimpari,’” asserting that Park Seo Jun’s post recalled the controversy surrounding Kim Soo-hyun raised by Gaseyeon.

In relation to this, Park Seo Jun’s side has not disclosed a separate stance. However, fans have stepped up to clarify the situation, asserting that he simply shared photos of the horizontal version taken in Paris. In fact, Park Seo Jun had previously shared photos taken in Miyazaki, Japan, in December of last year, and explained, “In Miyazaki (In Miyazaki) Garo.” As a result, Park Seo Jun’s fans are expressing astonishment at being suddenly called to Gaseyeon’s live broadcast.

These absurd claims were triggered recently as Gaseyeon has been conducting aggressive live broadcasts targeting Kim Soo-hyun. Gaseyeon has claimed, borrowing the assertions of Kim Sae-ron’s bereaved family, that Kim Soo-hyun engaged in a romantic relationship with Kim Sae-ron for six years, starting from her third year of middle school when she was a minor.

In particular, Gaseyeon has asserted that Kim Sae-ron received a notice of damage compensation of 700 million won from Gold Medalist, the agency that Kim Soo-hyun founded, claiming that Gold Medalist exerted economic pressure on her. They have sent a second notice, indicating that Gold Medalist pressured Kim Sae-ron, and criticized Kim Soo-hyun for colluding with this situation despite being Kim Sae-ron’s former partner.

As a result of the fallout, attention has been drawn to every move of Kim Soo-hyun. Previously, actress Seo Yea-ji voiced her frustration on her personal fan cafe, stating, “I don’t understand why I have to clarify this,” as she was suffering from malicious rumors about her and Kim Soo-hyun’s brother. Meanwhile, Big Bang’s G-Dragon faced controversy for liking and then unsupporting a social media post from an overseas fan requesting Kim Soo-hyun’s departure from MBC’s variety show ‘Good Day.’

However, Kim Soo-hyun’s side has partially acknowledged the past dating rumors with Kim Sae-ron but denied any romantic involvement during her minor years, claiming that they were only in a relationship from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020. While they have reversed the denial made last March regarding the dating rumors with Kim Sae-ron, they cautiously explained through an exclusive report by OSEN, “At the time of the initial dating rumors, it was difficult for both parties to acknowledge due to having broken up four years earlier and being public figures.”

Additionally, Gold Medalist refuted claims concerning the notice of damage compensation, stating that it was done solely to retain legal documentation regarding the 700 million won penalty due to Kim Sae-ron’s drunk driving and that they had not pressured her into repayment. They clarified that the two notices were merely legal procedures to provide information on the agreement, that they did not block contact with their actors, and that the involved actors were free to communicate.

Moreover, Gold Medalist has denied various allegations surrounding Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron, maintaining a strong legal stance against “defamation by false facts.” They have also stated, “The bereaved family and Gaseyeon are continuously asserting content contrary to the facts through press conferences and reports,” emphasizing, “For example, our company attended the deceased’s funeral, and the individual in the photos posted on Kim Sae-ron’s fan account is not Kim Soo-hyun but another person. We ask that you cease attempts to tarnish Kim Soo-hyun’s reputation based on unrelated photos and online posts.”
