Chef Lu Ching Lai mentioned appearing on Netflix's 'Culinary Class Wars.'
On the 18th broadcast of TV CHOSUN's 'Daddy and Me' (hereafter 'Daddy and Me'), Chef Lu Ching Lai and his son Yeomin, who serves as the sous-chef at his restaurant, appeared.
When Lu Ching Lai mentioned his appearance on the highly publicized Netflix show 'Culinary Class Wars,' he shyly said, "I feel a bit embarrassed every time I appear. I was eliminated in the first round."
Lu Ching Lai, who said he started cooking Chinese cuisine at the age of 15, noted, "I have been cooking Chinese cuisine for 51 years. I am the president of the Korea Chinese Cuisine Association. I have been doing this for about ten years. I also serve as the vice president of the World Chinese Cuisine Association," boasting impressive credentials.
Lu Ching Lai added, "I have worked with the teppanyaki grill for a long time. I handle knives well. One day, I watched a broadcast and saw a lot of grill and wok being used. I transitioned from the teppanyaki grill to the grill. That’s the best for performance."
