Lee Byung-hun from 'Handsome Guys' paid attention to fashion despite the freezing temperature of minus 13 degrees.
In the episode aired on Jan. 16, the tvN variety show 'Handsome Guys' featured a special segment on 'Gangwon Province Noodle Road,' in which Lee Byung-hun joined as a special member for one day in place of Kim Dong-hyun.
Starting the opening in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, Lee Byung-hun noted, "Dong-hyun should originally be in this spot, but due to scheduling, I will only be able to appear in one episode. Thank you," while he shivered in the feel-like temperature of minus 13 degrees.
When Lee Yi-kyung remarked, "You’re so decisive about just one episode. Can’t it be two episodes?" Lee Byung-hun firmly replied, "Even one episode is difficult for me."
Afterward, guest actor Kwak Si-yang expressed familiarity by saying, "Subscriber," to which Lee Byung-hun responded, "Thank you." Lee Yi-kyung, upon seeing Lee Byung-hun relying solely on a hot pack and shivering, advised, "Wear some clothes. Put your hands in your pockets and greet them with your hands in your pockets."
However, to maintain his fashion, Lee Byung-hun firmly rejected, gripping the hot pack in his hand, saying, "No." 차태현, who was watching from the side, said, "If you’re going to do that, wear gloves," and Lee Yi-kyung persuaded, "You need to do the opening for 40 more minutes," but Lee Byung-hun maintained, "Let’s go. I’ve done this before, but it’s all edited anyway," keeping up his style and eliciting laughter.
Meanwhile, the Guys team, including Lee Byung-hun, Cha Tae-hyun, and Oh Sang-wook, obtained narwhal and proceeded with a 30-minute spinning exercise mission. Experienced members Cha Tae-hyun and Oh Sang-wook prepared leisurely, while Lee Byung-hun, unfamiliar with spinning, reacted with disbelief when the instructor suggested being cute, saying, "Come on, let’s just work out."
When Cha Tae-hyun said, "This is how spinning originally is," Lee Byung-hun questioned, "Who would like something like this?" However, upon hearing there were a lot of customers, he expressed surprise, saying, "Really? That’s strange. So, there are a lot of people who like this?"
When the suggestion of winking was made, Lee Byung-hun rejected it, saying, "Winking isn’t part of the exercise, is it?" The instructor explained, "It’s a full-body workout; it works your facial muscles too," and eventually, Lee Byung-hun showed his ability to dance and even wink, bringing laughter.
After working out to two songs in a row, Lee Byung-hun began to lose his smile. After completing the much-anticipated final song, he expressed satisfaction, saying, "It’s really harder than I thought. It’s definitely difficult because the rhythm doesn’t match. But it was fun since it was my first time."
