Actor Ju Jihoon shared memories with his family.
On the 12th broadcast of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' Netflix's 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' actor Ju Jihoon appeared to talk about his family.
Ju Jihoon said of his usual self, "I’m just like my peers born in the year 1980 at home," and added, "I don’t say a word once I’m home. When I get home, I greet my mother and father, saying, 'I’m back.' My mother tells me to go before the traffic gets bad."
Ju Jihoon said, "My family is all individualistic. Even during the holidays, my father goes to meet my aunts, and my mother goes to her family. My mother tells me to go before the traffic gets bad. My younger sibling does Pilates and asks me to drop them off on the way in my car."
Ju Jihoon said, "I had to go when my younger sibling opened their studio. They kept asking me to do things for them. I want to check if they really bought equipment and all that," which drew laughter. Ju Jihoon continued, "I was worried they might have been scammed. I was concerned, so I introduced them to a friend who does interior design. I checked to see if they charged them extra money."
Cho Sae-ho asked, "Can I learn if my younger sibling is going to teach Pilates?" Ju Jihoon replied, "That's terrible. Don’t you have to touch each other?" which made everyone burst into laughter.
Yoo Jae-seok asked, "They say you look just like your father when you were younger." Ju Jihoon replied, "In 'Light Shop,' when old-age makeup is applied, it really looks like my father's face. My father used to weigh 95kg and was 184cm tall back in the day," attracting attention.
Ju Jihoon said, "My mother had a tough time when I was young, so she went back to studying. She passed the high school equivalency exam. Every morning, she would make fresh rice and new side dishes, do all the housework, and wake up at 4 a.m. to study for college."
Ju Jihoon remembered, "I lived in a small room where they sold dried fish when I was young. I would boil water on the briquette fire to wash. When it rained, my mother would sit there and make pancakes for me. I only have happy memories from that time," adding, "I played in the fields where my mother worked since I was little. I ran around all day, cooked there, and that's why I'm this dark."
Ju Jihoon said, "Mom and Dad, I appeared on a nationwide broadcast that you both like. My father is worried because his legs are not in good condition. I hope my mother stays fit like she is now, and I wish my sister Hye-ran succeeds in her Pilates."
