Hwang Jung-eum revealed that she continues to interact for her son even after the divorce.

In the entertainment show 'Solo' aired on the 11th, Hwang Jung-eum was shown reuniting with Sugar members Ayumi and Yook Hye-seung.

Ayumi was the first to arrive. Although Ayumi mentioned that she had seen Hwang Jung-eum's son five times, Hwang Jung-eum reacted as if she had no recollection at all. Hwang Jung-eum, looking somewhat embarrassed, hurriedly explained, "It's just that living is so hard. I had a lot to do. There were many difficult things."

The two talked about childbirth and parenting. Hwang Jung-eum said, "I was 48 kg (106 lbs) before pregnancy, but after the baby came out, I was 80 kg (176 lbs). How depressing is that? I had postpartum depression. I cry when I see my reflection in the mirror. I was so pretty, but I became ugly. When will I lose that weight? I keep crying."

Hwang Jung-eum said, "For eight months, I did nothing but take care of the baby. We leave each other alone when the other seems happy, but we check in when the other seems to be struggling." Ayumi recalled, "In the early days after (Hwang Jung-eum and her ex-husband) got together, she was really happy." Hwang Jung-eum added, "When I decided to get a divorce the first time, Ayumi was very supportive of me. She always asked, 'What are you doing, Jung-eum?' She came over, we ate good food, had wine, and chatted. She became a reliable friend."

Ayumi said, "When I went through my second divorce, I was so busy with pregnancy and parenting that I felt like I couldn't take care of her as much as before, and it weighed on my mind." Hwang Jung-eum replied, "I didn't want to say anything bad since she was pregnant."

Hwang Jung-eum and Ayumi discussed romance, marriage, and conditions. Hwang Jung-eum said, "I didn't look at conditions at all. If someone marries because conditions are better than love, they might not be happy. Marriage seems really difficult."

Ayumi asked, "If you date seriously later, will you introduce them to the kids?" Hwang Jung-eum replied, "There's no need to introduce them. The kids already have a dad. I don't want to confuse them unnecessarily. I'll take care of it quietly by myself. For the kids, there's mom, dad, and the kids, and that's it. I think that's good. No one can replace a dad's love. I'm not a bad dad to the kids. He can come and meet the kids anytime. He comes to the house and takes them. We get along very naturally. There's no question like, 'Why do mom and dad live separately?'"
