Lee Jong-gu's wife shared the reason for their remarriage after divorce.

On the 10th, MBC's 'Oh Eun-young Report – Marriage Hell' featured a couple who divorced over 20 years ago and reunited two years ago, Lee Jong-gu, a scene-stealer from the blockbuster film 'Burial,' and his wife.

The couple repeatedly fought for similar reasons in the observational footage. The wife habitually interrupted Lee Jong-gu's words, and he couldn't suppress his anger toward her, unleashing rage and curses.

The wife exposed Lee Jong-gu's violence and cursing, mentioning that he had even overturned the dinner table. Lee Jong-gu said, “The cause is initiated by my wife. She habitually interrupts me. If I get angry, I get angry. I have been to court five times. I was judged for divorce twice.”

The wife lamented, “Do I have to live getting scolded and mocked every day?” She explained, “On the evening of the day we divorced, he came home. Feeling hungry, he said, ‘Aunt, please give me some food.’ I said, ‘The Man from Nowhere, please wait,’ and prepared a meal for him.”

Lee Jong-gu revealed the reason he had no choice but to live in divorce, saying, “I suggested we remarry, but this person did not want to.” The wife said, “Since we are not legally bound, it feels comfortable. I heard that if my husband dies first, if we are not legally married, I cannot stay by his side. 'We loved each other, but if my husband dies, I can't be by him?' I hated that. Just imagining it made me cry.” Ultimately, the couple registered their marriage again 20 years after their divorce.

Oh Eun-young delivered a healing report for the couple. She advised Lee Jong-gu, “Your temper is a problem. It generally takes about 15 seconds for negative emotions to peak and then come down a notch. If you can hold on for 15 seconds, you can calm your heart. Please pay attention to the 15 seconds of magic to manage your temper.”

She also advised the wife, “Do not interrupt during phone calls or conversations. It is better to avoid doing things that make your spouse feel burdened.”
