Chef An Seong-jae from 'Good Day' revealed that his past dream was to be a mechanic.
On the broadcast of MBC's entertainment program 'Good Day' (directed by Kim Tae-ho, produced by TEO) on the 9th, Chef An Seong-jae appeared.
That day, the three gathered at a pho restaurant recommended by Chef An Seong-jae. Defconn expressed his gratitude to G-Dragon, saying, "I am honored. This person originally does not do entertainment. He has received numerous invitations but reportedly declined them. However, coming here means he really likes you. Thanks to you, we are able to meet."
At that moment, An Seong-jae appeared, and G-Dragon stated, "I went there before the program started. When you were in Hannam-dong." An Seong-jae replied, "Even if you came, I would not have gone out. I would not have gone out even if Chairman Lee Jae-yong had come. If necessary, he would have called, I thought," revealing that he was keeping watch in the kitchen.
Meanwhile, An Seong-jae mentioned he left for the United States at the age of 13, revealing that he dreamed of becoming a mechanic for Porsche at that time. He reminisced, "As I watched 'The Fast and the Furious' Part 1, I thought about racing. I got close to friends who were active in the racing crew while also doing engine maintenance. I also did car maintenance in the military."
Defconn asked, "So you went into cooking from there?" and An Seong-jae replied, "I was going to go to a mechanic school, but I happened to pass by a cooking school. I was curious and thought I should try it, and it was fun."
However, An Seong-jae noted he never felt that cooking was his destiny. He stated, "I didn't give up on another path due to not knowing it well, and there are several reasons including regretting the time I've spent. Looking back later, I think I have been doing it consistently."
