Actress Yang Jeong-ah revealed the reason she ended her eight-month-long 'thing' with the same-aged Kim Seung-soo just before her birthday. Ultimately, it was that Kim Seung-soo did not feel like a 'man' to her.

Best friends for 20 years, Yang Jeong-ah and Kim Seung-soo, who share the same birthday, displayed a peculiar relationship over eight months on SBS 'My Little Old Boy' (referred to as 'Miusae'). The two appeared on 'Miusae' starting in March. On the show, they went on dates and even engaged in skinship as if they were a couple. The natural skinship, such as back hugs, led the 'Miusae' panel to comment, "Are they really just friends? There’s definitely a vibe beyond friendship. They look like a couple. They seem happy. This is something that needs to be taken responsibility for."

In last August’s broadcast, Kim Seung-soo was captured engaging in skinship with Yang Jeong-ah, holding hands and whispering sweet nothings. Later, during the broadcast on the 4th, when asked if he denied dating Yang Jeong-ah when others inquired, Kim Seung-soo replied, "I don’t deny it," surprising Yang Jeong-ah.

I truly want to see you build a beautiful family and live a stable life. But I am in a position where I cannot do that. I want you to be able to live that way, and I hope for your happiness. That’s my feeling," effectively rejecting Kim Seung-soo's confession.

Regarding this on 'Radio Star,' Yang Jeong-ah commented, "Before this, we were really just friends. After filming this time, I had a chance to reflect alone, and thanks to my friend, I realized that I could feel a bit of romance as well."

Kim Gook-jin asked, "What do you think would happen if Kim Seung-soo were to date someone else?" Yang Jeong-ah replied, "As I mentioned before, I genuinely want to see my friend build a beautiful family. I would feel sad, but I think I would also feel good about it."
