In the drama, the contract teacher Soo-ah tried to make a good impression at vice-principal Baek Gwang-du's (Oh Yong's character) birthday celebration by dancing, singing, and quickly downing drinks poured into a large glass. The heavily intoxicated Soo-ah caused a scene and, while trying to hold back Gwang-du who was trying to leave, accidentally tugged on his wig, freezing everyone in the moment and eliciting laughter. Additionally, Soo-ah spilled coffee on Gwang-du's face in shock when he suddenly appeared during a conversation with other teachers. Jin Ki-joo portrayed the sincerity and determination of a teacher striving to achieve her goals with her committed performance.
The lively banter between Jin Ki-joo and Seo Kang-joon added vitality to the drama. Soo-ah, having encountered Jung Hae-sung (Seo Kang-joon's character) unexpectedly at her mother's shop, became infatuated with his handsome looks but expressed anger towards Hae-sung, a student, saying, 'Do we know each other? You from the shop back then?' and grabbed his ear, dragging him away, which added to the humor. Their exchanges, where Hae-sung does not back down, also contributed to the fun. In this scene, Jin Ki-joo demonstrated her seamless delivery of lines, showcasing her chemistry with Seo Kang-joon.
Soo-ah's genuine concern for the school and her students was also prominent. Learning that Hae-sung drank alcohol as a student, she exclaimed, 'Just try to get caught by me, and I won’t let this go easily.' When she saw Lee Dong-min (Shin Joon-hang's character) looking dirty after leaving school with Hae-sung, she suspected he had been bullied. Therefore, Jin Ki-joo joined the other teachers, expressing concern, saying, 'There’s nothing wrong, right? It’s not bullying, or maybe bullying?' Through her solid vocal expression and acting skills, Jin Ki-joo embodied the passionate image of a teacher.
