Actress Jeon Hye-jin expressed her confidence in her work, stating that she quickly returned to acting after overcoming personal pain through "Riding Life."

On the afternoon of the 25th, the production presentation for the new original drama "Riding Life" from Genie TV was held via live online broadcast. Present at the event were the main cast members Jeon Hye-jin, Jo Min-soo, Jung Jin-young, Jeon Seok-ho, and director Kim Cheol-kyu, who discussed the project under the moderation of broadcaster Park Kyung-rim.

"Riding Life" is a drama depicting the life of a passionate working mother, Jeong Eun (Jeon Hye-jin), who, ahead of her daughter's "7-year exam," entrusts her mother, Jia (Jo Min-soo), with her daughter's academy riding lessons, showcasing the "love" and challenges of three generations of women. In this, Jeon Hye-jin plays the role of Jeong Eun.

'Riding Life' is a new work being presented two years after the critically acclaimed drama "Namnam" in 2023. During this time, Jeon Hye-jin has experienced sorrow following the passing of her husband, actor Lee Sun-kyun.

Having quickly returned after her hardships, Jeon Hye-jin was confident about "Riding Life." She noted, "I actually have a great interest in education. I can't help but have it. Whether in the past or present, once you hold the title of 'mother,' especially in South Korea, it becomes a priority. I was curious about how it would unfold since it is set in Daechi-dong. I was drawn to the various stories. Also, since the director was involved, I wanted to see it, as he is a very reputable figure, and I wanted to try working with him."

She continued, saying that her degree of synchronization with the character was "70%." She remarked, "Since I actually work and have a child, I think that influences it. Honestly, I wonder if I am as passionate as Jeong Eun. I do my best according to the situation, but I am not quite like her," she added with a shy smile. Furthermore, she stated, "Jeong Eun is also a mother, but I wanted to express support for mothers like her. I want to encourage them. No matter what, you are doing your best. There might be moments where you feel you've strayed a bit from the path, and there may be regrets upon reflection, but I sincerely want to support you and hope you receive encouragement."

"Riding Life" will air on ENA at 10 p.m. on March 3.
