Jeong Young-joo, known as 'Lee Min-ho and Gong Hyo-jin's mom,' shared her thoughts on the conclusion of the drama 'Ask the Stars,' which was filled with many discussions and controversies.

Jeong noted on her social media on the 24th, “It's me! I'm Jeong Nami, the mom of Eve and Gorilla, and the grandmother of Byeol. I received a lot of resentful messages. Why did you abandon our Eve? Why didn't you recognize her? I was wrong. I had to survive! My child. I am being punished for sending you ahead.”

She added, “With Gorilla, we will take good care of Byeol. Thank you so much for your love, support, and consideration during this time! Our three sisters will always be living somewhere close to you all. I will be grateful for being alive and living. Best regards, Jeong Nami.”

The tvN weekend drama 'Ask the Stars' (written by Seo Suk-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by KeyEast and MYM Entertainment) is a space romance featuring Commander Eve (played by Gong Hyo-jin) and obstetrician Gorilla (played by Lee Min-ho) set in a weightless space station.

Jeong Young-joo’s character, Jeong Nami, is the mother who raised Gorilla and gave birth to Eve. Eve gave birth to Gorilla's child in space and ultimately met a tragic ending without returning to Earth. Gorilla became disabled, and the story revolves around his mother, Jeong Nami, raising her granddaughter, concluding its run on the 23rd.

Previously, Jeong captivated viewers as Lim Sol's (played by Kim Hye-yoon) mother in 'Running on Empty,' but 'Ask the Stars' struggled with viewership ratings in the 1-2% range despite expectations as the nation's first space office drama.
