Actor Lee Jong-won challenged himself as the MC for the first awards ceremony, showcasing his versatility.
At the 'D Awards' (hereafter referred to as 'D Awards'), held on the 22nd at the Hwajeong Gymnasium of Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, actor Lee Jong-won took on the role of the inaugural 'Maestro' and led the event alongside actress Ko Min-si.
Lee Jong-won remarked, 'The gaze of the K-pop fans filling the audience makes my heart race. I feel this is the power of culture,' officially opening the 'D Awards.' His smooth hosting skills, witty remarks, and perfect chemistry with Ko Min-si illuminated the event and heightened the atmosphere.
After the successful conclusion of the 'D Awards,' which were held for the first time in 2025, Lee Jong-won shared his feelings, saying, 'I was happy and thrilled to be a part of the first start of the D Awards. I thank everyone who worked hard for today.'
Lee Jong-won is expected to engage in active activities in 2025.
