On 'Running Man,' Ji Suk-jin celebrated his birthday with a song from Kim Jong-kook and received a luxury pair of shoes.
They visited Kim Jong-kook's house on the SBS entertainment program 'Running Man' aired on 23rd.
On the recording day, Yoo Jae-suk mentioned that they needed to organize Kim Jong-kook's house, stating, "What we reported is very serious," and Ha Ha added, "There are separate bags for plastic, it’s not a lie." Yoo Jae-suk noted, "He is a man who can't throw away anything he cherishes," and Ji Suk-jin said, "There are many brand new luxury goods, including a 1 million won air purifier."
They headed to Kim Jong-kook's house. Yoo Jae-suk expressed excitement, saying, "It's been a while since we shot after visiting Kim Jong-kook's house two years ago," noting that there was an unpacked 1 million won air purifier at the entrance. There were even packed moving boxes piled up.
As clothes piled up blocked the path, Yoo Jae-suk joked, "Really, he is like 'My Ugly Duckling.' I can't throw away anything either, but you are being excessive," leading to laughter. Kim Jong-kook commented, "They keep giving me things when I told them not to give me anything," and Ha Ha added, "Baggage accumulates as you live."
Jiye Eun noted, "I think we need some ventilation; carcinogens are coming out," and laughed as there were clothes hung in the living room. When she asked if there was a dryer, Kim Jong-kook explained, "Electricity costs a lot," and added, "In winter, if you hang them in the living room, it helps control humidity."
In the particularly cluttered room, there were lots of luxury gifts. Known as the Dogmyo room, it had worse conditions than a refrigerator, filled with brand new items that were still unopened.
Kim Jong-kook, who tends to give away unused luxury items, mentioned, "There are D brand shoes," and presented them to Ji Suk-jin, who happened to be celebrating his birthday. It turned out that the shoes had been a gift to Kim Jong-kook about five years ago, received from a former producer of 'Running Man' after a wedding performance. Ji Suk-jin laughed, saying, "Although Jong-kook did the performance, it found its owner after five years."
