Actor Bae Yong-joon has recently been revealed to have donated 3 billion won to Yonsei University Health System.

According to the medical community on the 16th, Yonsei University Health System announced through its newsletter published in December of last year that Bae Yong-joon, the CEO of BOF Investment, donated 3 billion won as a development donation for the health system.

Bae Yong-joon reportedly said while delivering the donation, "I decided to donate with the hope that despite the difficult circumstances in the medical field, the health system will continue to develop and grow into an institution that leads future medicine. I wish that the donation will serve as a foundation for the health system's future and contribute to creating a healthy world for everyone, including low-income youth and infants."

Yonsei University Health System plans to use the donations for the development of the health system and for the treatment costs of low-income youth and infants. Yonsei University Health System includes Severance Hospital, Gangnam Severance Hospital, and Yongin Severance Hospital under its umbrella.
