SSG Landers manager Lee Soong-yong stormed out of the dugout during the third-inning at-bat when the team took the first run, briefly halting the game.
SSG defeated the KT Wiz 3-1 in the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League home game at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 25th. SSG extended its winning streak to five games.
Starter Takeda Shota pitched well, allowing three hits, two walks and six strikeouts over five scoreless innings to earn the win. It was his first win of the season.

Choi Jeong stole during Eredia's at-bat, and Eredia was retired on a grounder to shortstop. Meanwhile Choi Jeong advanced to third. The next batter was Han Yoo-seom. The situation was two outs and a runner on third.
The duel between Han Yoo-seom and Ko Young-pyo went to two balls and two strikes. Before the fifth pitch was thrown, SSG manager Lee Soong-yong stormed out of the dugout. Walking toward the field, he pointed at Ko Young-pyo and argued with the umpires.
The plate umpire and the first through third base umpires conferred about the points Lee complained about. The outcome was that the manager's protest was not upheld and the matter was closed. The situation did not change. The plate umpire gave the manager a sufficient explanation, and the manager returned to the dugout.
An SSG official explained the manager's protest, saying the complaint was that Ko Young-pyo had committed a balk.
