Chungbuk Cheongju FC participated in various community-linked events to broaden its touchpoints with local residents.
Chungbuk Cheongju took part in the '23rd Cheongju Arts Festival' held along Musimcheon in Cheongju from Apr. 3 (Fri) to Apr. 5 (Sun). Through various hands-on events such as target shooting and catching air balls, the club promoted itself to citizens and created opportunities to interact with local residents.
Then, on the 8th (Wed), it visited Cheongju Indoor Gymnasium, where the Cheongju KB Kookmin Bank Stars, the women's professional basketball team based in Cheongju, were holding a playoff home game, and carried out on-site promotional activities. It ran various mini-games, including the "cham-cham-cham game with the mascot," creating a place for communication with KB Stars fans.
A Cheongju resident at the scene said, "I was pleased to see the Chungbuk Cheongju mascot as soon as I entered the basketball arena," and added, "I'll watch basketball today and visit the soccer stadium next weekend."
Chungbuk Cheongju also took part in the 'LOSO FESTIVAL,' organized by the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise (KFME), in Cheongju on Apr. 11 (Sat) and Apr. 12 (Sun). The event was a local win-win festival where small business owners and citizens came together, and various programs were operated with the goal of revitalizing the local commercial district.
Through continuous participation in local events, Chungbuk Cheongju expanded its touchpoints with citizens and simultaneously sought to raise club awareness and strengthen its local foundation. The club plans to continue carrying out various activities that engage with the local community.
Meanwhile, Chungbuk Cheongju will play a home match against Gimhae FC2008 in round 8 of the Hana Bank K League 2 2026 at 4:30 p.m. on Apr. 18 (Sat) at Cheongju Sports Complex.
