The Korea Squash Federation (hereinafter the "federation") said it successfully held the "2026 sports exchange agreement implementation system establishment project (KSF international referee invitation workshop)" over two days from April 11 to 12 at Chung-Ang University Anseong campus.
This workshop was organized to strengthen the expertise of domestic referees and enhance international competitiveness, and in-depth training was provided by inviting international referees on actual international tournament standards and operational methods.
The program invited outstanding Hong Kong national referee Anthony So and focused on improving participants' practical capabilities by conducting ▲analysis of international tournament operation procedures and case studies ▲explanations of the latest adjudication standards and regulations ▲training on decision-making responses centered on real match situations. In particular, it was evaluated that on-site, practical training was achieved through direct communication and feedback with the international referee.
Referees who participated in the workshop said, "It was a useful time to raise our understanding of international standards," and "The practical training that can be applied to actual match situations was impressive."
A federation official said, "This workshop served as an important opportunity for domestic referees to acquire the capabilities required on the international stage," and noted, "We plan to continue promoting the strengthening of referee expertise through systematic education programs going forward."
Meanwhile, the federation plans to continue various programs to expand international exchanges and cultivate professional personnel in the future.<
