The Kiwoom Heroes announced a long-term partnership while welcoming fans with a girl group ceremonial pitch event.
Kiwoom said it selected Summer and Maika of the girl group
Oddyouth, which debuted in November 2024, is a five-member girl group made up of Summer, Maya, Maika, Kani and Yeeum. In March they made a comeback with their second single "Babyface," drawing attention with a more mature visual and performance.
Summer, who will throw the ceremonial pitch, said, "I am grateful to be able to stand on the Gocheok Sky Dome mound again after last year. Since it is an honorable position, I will show a more impressive ceremonial pitch."
Maika, who will catch the ceremonial pitch, said, "Thank you for inviting us to the Kiwoom Heroes. It is my first visit to a baseball stadium in Korea, so I am very excited and looking forward to it."
Under the contract, Kiwoom will expose the Panasonic Korea brand through catcher back LED and outfield fence advertisements, and Panasonic Korea will provide corresponding sponsorship.
CEO Wi Jae-min said, "Panasonic Korea has been a valuable partner for a long time. We are pleased to continue our partnership with this contract," and added, "We will bring joy to fans this season through various collaborations."
Panasonic Korea CEO Kensuke Miyaji also said, "It is very meaningful to be together for seven consecutive years. Based on a partnership that has grown on trust, we will continue to cooperate to provide better experiences for fans and players."
Kiwoom plans to provide a different kind of enjoyment to fans visiting Gocheok Sky Dome through various events and collaborations.<
