Doosan Bears signed a memorandum of understanding with Aequon Capital on the "Green Scoreboard" eco-friendly campaign at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 8th. With this, Doosan and Aequon Capital will continue the eco-friendly campaign for a third consecutive year.
The "Green Scoreboard eco-friendly campaign" aims to visualize recycling rates and waste discharge in the stadium as an "environmental grade" to manage them together with fans. With the message "reduce errors (general trash), raise batting average (recycling rate)," it plans to encourage voluntary participation from fans.
They will also produce goods made from waste. PET bottles collected through waste collection bins will be sorted and recycled by Ecotree and made into eco-friendly goods, which will be provided to fans who visit Jamsil Baseball Stadium in the second half of the season.
A Doosan official said, "The baseball stadium is a space where the experience created together by fans is as important as the game result," and noted, "Through this campaign, we will continue to collaborate with Aequon Capital so that fans' visiting the stadium itself can be a meaningful action that contributes to the environment."
The Doosan club has been continuously holding various promotional events this year, including projects for fans.
On the 8th, they selected the first winner of 2026 for the fan wish fulfillment project "Do It For You," which grants the wishes of the "ultimate 10th batter."
The season's first winner is Doosan Bears superfan couple Nam Tae-woong and Park Da-young. Before the Kiwoom Heroes game on the 9th, Doosan Bears will grant the wife's wish for the couple to perform the ceremonial first pitch and first hit together.
The Doosan club also signed an advertising promotion contract with Dongmun Construction, continuing the partnership for a fourth consecutive year. They plan to designate a specific regular-season home game as "Dongmun Construction brand day" and hold various promotional events.
