FC Seoul will play its 2026 K League 1 round 5 home opener against Gwangju FC at Seoul World Cup Stadium at 2 p.m. on March 22. The club prepared various programs to reflect on its history and tradition and to mark the start of the new season.
At the stadium, a heritage video capturing championship moments dating back to 1983 will revisit the "six stars" and, together with the guardian, begin the journey toward the "seventh star." Next, starting with head coach Yoon Sang-chul's opening declaration, there will be an emblem banner display, a flag performance, and Ko Yo-han's drum performance. Through the halftime chant time introduced this season, a cheering event involving the entire audience will also be held.
Before the match, fan participation events will be held in the north plaza. On the special stage, under the direction of MC Hwi, V Girls (Seo Hyun-sook, Park Ki-ryang, Baek Ji-hye, Ryu Hyun-joo) will participate in mini games and cheering programs. At the food park, tasting and prize events will be held along with newly arranged menu items.
This match will be presented as "TERRA DAY" in partnership with official partner Terra. A draft beer zone will operate in the north plaza, and discount promotions, a photo zone, and game events are expected to take place.
A collaboration event with the global IP "Pokémon" will also be prepared. A large Pikachu balloon, a photo wall, and a mini game zone will be installed in the north plaza, and Pikachu greetings will take place inside the stadium.
