The LA Dodgers lost two exhibition games in one day during spring training and have fallen into a three-game losing streak.
The Dodgers lost 6-7 to the Texas Rangers in an exhibition game held at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona, on the 1st (Korean time).
In the split squad game, the Dodgers started Alex Call (left field), Kyle Tucker (designated hitter), Santiago Espinal (third base), Dalton Rushing (catcher), Andy Pages (center field), Alex Freeland (shortstop), Nick Senzel (second base), Ryan Ward (first base) and Zack Auerbach (right field). Rushing went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBIs and two runs scored, and Senzel, Mike Scirota and Jake Gellof also hit home runs.
Starting pitcher Jackson Ferris threw 1 2/3 innings, allowing one hit, one walk, one strikeout and no runs. The bullpen — Wyatt Crowell (1/3 inning, no runs), Cole Irvin (2 innings, 1 run), Will Klein (1 inning, 2 runs), Carlos Duran (2/3 inning, 3 runs), Antonio Noles (1/3 inning, no runs), Garrett McDaniels (1 inning, 1 run) and Antonio Kelly (1 inning, no runs) — struggled and surrendered the game.

In the top of the first with two outs, Espinal hit a double and Rushing hit a two-run homer to put the Dodgers ahead. In the bottom of the fourth with one out, Haggerty hit a solo home run off Irvin to chase one back. In the top of the fifth, leadoff hitter Rushing singled, Pages struck out but Rushing advanced to second on a wild pitch. Freeland hit a grounder that advanced the runner, and Senzel hit a two-run homer to extend the lead.
Texas responded in the bottom of the fifth. Leadoff hitter Wade reached on a single and advanced to second on a throwing error. Jonah Bride reached on a strikeout not caught, and Wade advanced to third. Alejandro Osuna struck out, but Langford's RBI groundout and Fratto's RBI single made it 4-3.
Starting the comeback, Texas' leadoff hitter Zavala singled in the sixth. Ezekiel Duran struck out, but Mark Canha drew a walk and Andrew Velasquez hit a two-run double to flip the game. Osuna also added an RBI single to increase the lead. In the seventh, Fratto's double and Zavala's RBI single pushed the score to 7-4.
In the top of the eighth, Scirota hit a solo home run to chase one back. In the ninth, Gellof hit a solo home run but did not tie the game.
