K League 1 promotion hopeful Suwon FC has signed Norwegian forward Jan Martin Hoel Andersen (Jan Martin Hoel Andersen / registered name: Hoel).
Suwon FC said on the 23rd that by signing Hoel they have bolstered their attack. Born in 1995, Hoel is a 187cm player who can play both centrally and on the flanks as a multi-role forward.
Hoel is a late-blooming forward who has steadily gained experience in the Norwegian leagues while playing for Kongsvinger IL, Östers IF, and Sheid Fotball. Based on his work rate and ability to press from the front, he contributes to offensive build-up, and his tactical versatility in shifting positions as needed is regarded as a strength.
Suwon FC expects Hoel's arrival to broaden their attacking options and allow them to try various tactical changes during the season.
