Professional baseball team NC Dinos will play exhibition games against three Major League Baseball (MLB) clubs during CAMP 2 in 2026 to check their game readiness.
NC will play its first exhibition game against the San Diego Padres on the 28th (local time) in Peoria, Arizona, U.S. On March 1, they will face the Chicago White Sox in Glendale, and on March 3 they will play the Los Angeles Dodgers at the same venue. The White Sox game will be operated, by agreement between the two clubs, so that an NC pitcher will appear as a White Sox player in the eighth to ninth innings.
NC structured these exhibition games as a core schedule not just for practice but to bring game readiness to its peak while simultaneously testing diversified pitcher usage and team strength. NC secured local stadium use and training time before and after each game, finalizing an efficient schedule. Through this, the team will be able to maintain optimal training condition on game days and participate in the exhibition games.
Although previous U.S. spring camps offered excellent training environments and climate, securing opponents for exhibition games remained an ongoing challenge. However, NC completed a series of exhibition games with three MLB clubs, laying the foundation to further enhance the effectiveness and completeness of its training.
In particular, game-centered matches against high-level MLB clubs are expected to be an important opportunity to raise the completeness of CAMP 2, and serve as a process to lay the groundwork for building a team that can enter the new season with players in top form and condition.
