Golf grip brand Golf Pride has officially launched a new putter grip, "Zero Taper."
Zero Taper features a design based on a parallel structure that provides the same feel in both hands when putting, optimizing hand placement and inducing consistent grip pressure. This helps keep the putter face more square at the moment of impact and further boosts confidence and performance on the green.
Released in two sizes, medium and large, the product will be sold nationwide through major golf retailers and online starting Feb. 17. The colors are black, blue and red.
Born from more than 75 years of golf grip development expertise and consumer testing, Zero Taper's strength is that it enhances both performance and comfort.
Key features include a "bilateral grip feel," which provides the same sensation in both hands due to a uniform shape, and "enhanced face awareness," which makes putter-face movement clearer thanks to deeper side contours of the grip. The back design is shaped like a horseshoe so fingers can rest naturally, offering a comfortable "ergonomic reference point."
It also offers "repeatable hand-position alignment," allowing the grip to be held in the same hand position every time through visual guide elements, and promises "balance and stability," maintaining the same weight balance across sizes to preserve the putter's sweet spot and make it easy to sense the head position during the stroke.
Zero Taper is one of Golf Pride's polyurethane putter grips, following the "Reverse Taper," which was released in 2024. It provides a soft, highly responsive feel and ideal weight balance, and its visual guide makes it suitable for all grip styles.

Zero Taper was conceived, designed and tested at Golf Pride's state-of-the-art Global Innovation Center (GIC) in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
