Callaway's wave of new products is fierce. It is launching the 'Quantum(Quantum)' series in the domestic market for the world first.
'Quantum(Quantum)' realized an integrated face that uses all three materials: titanium·poly mesh·carbon. A Callaway Golf Korea official said on the 22nd, "With the launch of this product, the debate between carbon and titanium faces is over."
Callaway Golf Korea adopted a groundbreaking method that reflects the advantages of titanium and carbon in the quantum series it is releasing. It realized the so-called completely new dimensional "Tri-Force(Tri-Force) face" structure.
The Tri-Force face is the industry's first integrated face technology completed by combining titanium·poly mesh·carbon, and it is applied to all models of the quantum driver.
This series consists of driver, fairway wood, hybrid, and iron, and the global release is scheduled for Feb. 2026, so Korean golfers will be the first to experience the new face technology and performance.
The quantum series is characterized by being designed with benefits felt on the actual course centered with a focus on not only longer distance, but also forgiveness that does not waver with mishits, stable spin and trajectory, and the feel·sound of impact that boosts confidence.
The core technology of the quantum series is the "Tri-Force face," which for the first time in the industry combines the strengths of titanium, poly mesh, and carbon into one.
The three materials consist respectively of titanium, which produces fast ball speed; carbon, which provides greater elasticity and rebound at the moment of impact; and poly mesh, which stably bonds the two materials and increases the overall structure's rigidity and energy transfer efficiency.
This three-material integrated structure was designed to maximize the face's resilience and speed conversion efficiency beyond a simple material combination. As a result, ball speed is higher with the same swing, and even after impact the ball's flight energy is maintained longer, so total distance including carry and run can be expected to increase. Unlike existing designs centered on titanium or carbon, the Tri-Force face efficiently transfers impact energy to the ball to improve initial ball speed and increase distance potential.
This face structure enhances technical completeness when combined with next-generation AI face design. AI, trained on actual golfers' impact point distribution data, precisely adjusts the thickness and structure of each face area to provide a powerful response at the sweet spot and minimize speed and spin loss at peripheral impact points. It is characterized by maintaining stable ball speed and trajectory in various course conditions, including wind, rough, and even off-center impacts, and feedback from tour and advanced player tests confirmed that carry distance is maintained and spin variation is reduced even when impact points vary. This shows that the quantum driver was designed to improve overall shot performance by considering not only the sweet spot center but also surrounding impact points.
Supporting these face performances, the quantum driver is equipped with APW(Adjustable Perimeter Weighting) movable weights and an OptiFit hosel that can be adjusted in eight steps. Golfers can finely tune the desired ball flight and trajectory with a single club without additional equipment changes, enabling the most optimized performance according to each person's swing style and practical feel. APW and OptiFit adjustments support maximizing the driver's core functions of speed and forgiveness, and allow golfers to easily achieve optimal performance suited to their swing style.
The quantum driver series consists of a total of five lineups: 'Quantum Max', 'Quantum Max D', 'Quantum Max Fast', 'Quantum Triple Diamond', and 'Quantum Triple Diamond Max'.
The Quantum Max driver is the central model best suited for a wide range of golfers, providing fast ball speed and balanced spin through the combination of Tri-Force face and AI face, and realizing stable trajectory and high consistency with a neutral center of gravity design.
The Quantum Max D is designed with weight placed toward the heel to reduce slice and induce a natural draw, and is suitable for golfers who want easy launch and high forgiveness.
The Quantum Max Fast is designed with a light head and a 360° carbon chassis structure to increase swing speed and make it easier to launch the ball, making it ideal for golfers who do not have high swing speed or who want a driver that places less condition burden throughout the round.
The Quantum Triple Diamond was inspired by the tour and is designed for advanced players who want low spin, shot shaping, and a trajectory that flies on a strong path through a 450cc compact head, and the head's responsiveness allows players to precisely execute intended ball flights.
The Quantum Triple Diamond Max maintains the same tour DNA while strengthening forgiveness and stability through a 460cc head, making it a suitable choice for golfers who prefer low spin and strong control while also expecting forgiveness for mistakes.
▲Quantum fairway wood
The Quantum fairway wood applies Speed Wave 2.0 and a new step sole structure to make it easier to launch the ball even from irregular lies, and is designed to minimize distance loss by reducing energy loss on strikes to the lower part of the face. A 40g weight placed at the front increases launch angle and ball speed, and the AI face helps overall control by reducing the impact of shot location. The models consist of Max with all-around performance, Max D with enhanced draw correction, Max Fast which is lightened, and Triple Diamond characterized by tour-style playability.
▲Quantum hybrid
The Speed Wave 2.0 and newly designed step sole structure of the Quantum hybrid naturally bridge the distance gap between woods and irons and maintain energy transfer when striking the lower part of the face in various swing situations. The AI face stably maintains ball speed and direction at the face front, and adjustable loft and lie settings allow golfers of various styles and levels to achieve the desired trajectory. The lineup consists of Max, which balances forgiveness and control; Max OS, which enhances forgiveness and draw correction; and Max Fast, which with a light head and shallow face makes shots easier to launch.
The quantum driver, fairway wood, and hybrid lineups go on sale from Jan. 23, and the irons are scheduled to be released in Feb.
A Callaway Golf Korea official explained, "The quantum series is Callaway's answer to the long-standing debate over which material, titanium or carbon, is superior, and it is meaningful that the Korean market becomes the first stage of that innovation." He added, "It is a product that comprehensively evolves ball speed, distance, forgiveness, playability, and flexible adjustment functions to more often create golfers' best moments experienced on the course."
