Gangwon FC began the 2026 season with briquette volunteer work together with High1 Resort.
Gangwon FC held the "Gangwon FC briquette volunteer activity with High1 Resort" on the 9th in Jeongseon County, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. Kim Byung-ji, chief executive officer of Gangwon FC, along with Gangwon FC executives and staff, coach Kim Min-sik, Hong Jin-hyeok, Lee Yong-jae, High1 Resort executives and staff and about 30 others attended to share their support.
Despite the cold wave, the volunteer site was filled with warm hearts. Kim Byung-ji, who has participated in briquette volunteer work for three years, moved briquettes with familiar movements. As briquettes were passed hand to hand, the feeling of warming the winter grew.
That day Gangwon FC donated 5,000 briquettes and personally delivered 1,000 briquettes to two households. Gangwon FC and High1 Resort joined forces to carry out this volunteer activity to bring warmth to the local community.
Coach Kim Min-sik said, "I am grateful to be able to participate in this meaningful volunteer activity today. It was rewarding to be able to help households in need of briquettes."
Hong Jin-hyeok said, "I was glad to be able to participate in this meaningful volunteer activity. It was a meaningful time that could help residents have a warm winter with briquettes."

Gangwon FC has been steadily carrying out sharing activities with the local community. Briquette donation and delivery volunteer work have been ongoing social contribution activities since the club's founding. Gangwon FC plans to continue delivering warm support to places in the province that need help.
