Tottenham Hotspur presents a special documentary spotlighting Son Heung-min (33, LAFC), who left a major mark on the club's history.
Tottenham said on the 17th (KST) via the club's official social media account that a documentary chronicling Son Heung-min's journey at Tottenham will be released that day at 6:30 p.m. on the club's official YouTube channel.
The club emphasized in Korean that this work contains Son Heung-min's final story. The released teaser video showed Son Heung-min sitting down for an interview and preparing for filming. Past and present moments intersected in the short trailer format.
Son Heung-min is regarded as a Tottenham "legend." He began his professional career at Hamburger SV in the German Bundesliga, moved to Bayer Leverkusen and joined Tottenham in 2015. He later established himself as a key player for the team and grew into a world-class forward. He appeared in 454 official matches and scored 173 goals. He is fifth on the club's all-time scoring list. He ranks seventh in appearances.
His individual achievements are significant. Son Heung-min scored 23 goals in the 2021-22 Premier League season. He became the first Asian player to win the golden boot. He also won the FIFA Puskás Award for his 70-meter solo run goal against Burnley in 2020. He was included in the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) team of the year.
He also lifted a championship trophy. Last season he wore the captain's armband and led Tottenham to victory in the UEFA Europa League. The club ended a 17-year run without a trophy. It was the first trophy Son Heung-min lifted with a club since his professional debut.
Son Heung-min moved to Major League Soccer (MLS) club LAFC during last summer's transfer window. He formalized his farewell to Tottenham during the preseason Korea tour.

On the 10th, before the sixth match of the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League league phase against Slavia Prague at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Son Heung-min's Tottenham "homecoming day" took place.
Returning to the home stadium after a long time, Son Heung-min took the microphone in front of fans and said, "I had an incredible time at Tottenham. I can only say thank you. I will always be part of Tottenham. This place will always be my home."
The documentary is expected to include key scenes of Son Heung-min writing a new chapter in Tottenham's history along with moments from the homecoming day.
