The Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation (chairman Ryu Hyun-jin) and What A Bread (CEO Kim Hyun-jun) signed a memorandum of understanding to support youth baseball and promote a culture of donation as part of their social contribution activities.
Through this agreement, What A Bread (WHAT A BREAD) will provide its products for the foundation's major events, including a charity golf tournament, CAMP RYU99 (youth baseball camp), and the Ryu Hyun-jin Cup national middle school baseball tournament.
Various forms of sponsorship, such as baked snack sets fortified with protein and beverages, will be provided to ensure healthy food for youth players.
Ryu Hyun-jin, chairman, said the collaboration with What A Bread goes beyond simple sponsorship and is meaningful in that it can provide youth players with tangible support. He said the foundation will continue to work with various partners to steadily carry out activities for the development of youth baseball.
Kim Hyun-jun, CEO of What A Bread, said he was pleased to begin a meaningful social contribution activity with the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation and hoped What A Bread's products would bring small joys and messages of support to the players and participants. He said the company will continue to work closely with the foundation to practice the value of sharing.
Meanwhile, the agreement is valid until June next year, and the two organizations will continue to discuss additional cooperation measures.
