Professional baseball team NC Dinos delivered the revenue raised through a game-worn uniform charity auction on the 28th to Dongbowon, a child care facility in the Changwon area.
This charity auction was held on the charity auction platform CharityAuction (charityauction.org) from the 14th through the 21st. All 10 game-worn uniforms donated by the players were sold, and the total amount raised, 6.83 million won, was donated in full to Dongbowon to be used for child support.
Dongbowon is a child care facility that supports the living and education of children in the Changwon area and operates various care programs linked with the local community.
At the donation ceremony that day, Shin Min-hyeok, Kim Tae-kyung and 13 rookies for the 2026 season attended, adding significance. The players not only presented the donation but also added warmth to the sharing event by carrying out various programs and giving gifts to the children.
The event began with the donation handover and a commemorative photo, and continued with programs in which the players and Dongbowon children participated together. The children made unforgettable memories through activities such as a signing session and high-fives with the players, the "Dinos ceremony experience" where they presented ideas for 2026-season hit celebration ceremonies, and creating "dream support cards" expressing their dreams in drawings.
Player Shin Min-hyeok said, "The time I spent with the children was meaningful to me as well. I am grateful that I can return the support we received at the ballpark through acts of sharing. I hope the small gesture we offered today remains a warm memory for the children. I also hope that good activities the team can participate in will continue."
