The 'FC Barcelona 2025 Asia Tour Edition' general ticket sales for the Seoul match recorded a remarkable response, with all seats sold out just 40 minutes after sales began, demonstrating the ticket buying frenzy.
Immediately after the ticket sales started, approximately 35,000 people were in queue on the NOL ticketing platform, leading to temporary access delays during peak times. This is interpreted as a reflection of fans' high interest, given that the match marks FC Barcelona's historic visit to Korea after 15 years.
The match between FC Seoul and FC Barcelona, scheduled to be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on July 31 (Thursday) at 8 p.m., will feature world-class superstars. There has been a flood of inquiries in online communities and ticketing platforms even before the general sales opened.
Ham Seul, representing the official host company, D Drive Co., Ltd., noted, "There was an explosive surge in access as soon as ticket sales began, and the fact that the general tickets sold out within a short time is a symbolic scene that proves the fans' expectations and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, at 4 p.m. today, a pre-sale for Daegu FC fans will be conducted, and general ticket sales for the Daegu match will begin on June 27 (Friday) at 2 p.m. The match between Daegu FC and FC Barcelona will be held on August 4 (Monday) at 8 p.m. at Daegu Stadium.
The FC Barcelona 2025 Asia Tour Edition is officially hosted by D Drive Co., Ltd., with the Seoul match co-hosted by Genesis BBQ and the Daegu match co-hosted by the city of Daegu.
The match will be exclusively broadcast live on television and through OTT via TV Chosun and Disney+.
