Ange Postecoglou, the Tottenham manager (59), raised concerns about information leaks within the club. He expressed anger, stating that it should never happen.

Postecoglou stated during a pre-match press conference on the 12th (Korean time) ahead of the 2024-2025 season English Premier League match against Wolverhampton, "Someone is leaking internal Tottenham stories to the outside," adding, "Not only injury information but various details have been leaking. The club has been investigating this issue for quite some time.

He continued, "Since last year, internal club information has been leaking to the outside, despite maintaining a very narrow scope of Gong Yoo. I cannot understand who and why this is happening. If it's someone inside, that's even less acceptable. Such actions do not help us at all."

He also stressed, "In situations where opposing teams are trying to analyze us, it is best for information not to go outside. However, the leaks continue over time. This time, we will definitely root it out."

In response to a question about whether agents or players might be responsible for the information leaks, Postecoglou drew the line saying, "No."

He stated, "Agents are definitely not responsible. The leaked information is very specific, and the language used is different from that used with agents. Players are also not to blame."

Postecoglou emphasized, "In the football world, it may be thought that information disclosure is normal, but providing medical records and related information does not fall into this category. Sometimes, even the players themselves do not wish for information to be disclosed. Leaks of such information are unacceptable for both the club and individuals."

Postecoglou noted that even if they identify the leaker, they will take action internally rather than publicly. He said, "I will resolve this in the correct way internally. If there is someone in any organization leaking sensitive information, they must be addressed."

Meanwhile, Tottenham has recorded 16 losses in 31 Premier League matches this season (14th), achieving its worst performance since 1977. Consequently, internal trust in Postecoglou is significantly shaken. Concerns are being raised about the possibility of him being dismissed if they fail to win the UEFA Europa League (UEL).

Tottenham drew 1-1 against Frankfurt in the first leg of the UEL quarterfinals at home on the 11th. They are in a desperate situation where they must secure a win in the away second leg on the 18th.
