Seoul High School and Masan Yongma High School clash at the final stage at Incheon SSG Landers Field.

The Korea Baseball Softball Association hosted and organized the 2025 Shinsegae Emart National High School Baseball Tournament, with sponsorship from Shinsegae Emart and Miryang City. On the 16th day, all semi-final matches ended on the 11th. In the match between Jemulpo High School and Seoul High School, Seoul High School took an early lead with a timely hit by Kim Tae-sung in the second inning, followed by a hit from Lee Si-won and consecutive timely hits from Kim Ji-woo and Lee Hyun-jun in the fifth inning, leading to a score of 5-1.

Jemulpo High School followed with 1 run in the sixth inning and 2 runs in the seventh, closing the gap to 4-6. However, Seoul High School regained momentum with a timely hit by Song Ji-yoon in the bottom of the sixth, adding one more run.

In the top of the seventh inning, Kim Ji-woo, who took the mound, continued to pitch steadily through the eighth inning, but in the ninth, after walking the first batter and then issuing consecutive walks with two outs, he faced a bases-loaded crisis. However, he struck out the last batter, securing the team's advance to the finals.

In the match between Masan Yongma High School and Daegu High School, Masan Yongma High School scored the first two runs in the top of the first inning with a triple by Kim Joo-young. Although scoring opportunities continued until the eighth inning, neither team was able to add to the score.

In the top of the ninth inning, Daegu High School advanced the lead-off batter and the runner reached second base due to a fielding error. A walk and another fielding error followed, creating an opportunity with no outs and runners on first and second base. Subsequently, they made up one run with a ground ball from the shortstop, reigniting their hopes for a comeback, and after two outs, Baek Da-seung's infield hit brought the runner from third home, seemingly tying the game.

At that moment, the runner on second base collided with Masan Yongma High School's shortstop Je Seung-ha, resulting in an interference call that nullified the run, leading to a 2-1 victory for Masan Yongma High School.

Masan Yongma High School's starting pitcher, Seong Chi-hwan, threw 105 pitches over 8.2 innings, allowing just one run, leading the team to advance to the finals.

Meanwhile, on the last day of the tournament, February 13, the finals will be held at SSG Landers Field. Both Seoul High School and Masan Yongma High School have reached the finals for the first time. Which team will claim the inaugural championship of this tournament? The finals will be broadcast live on SPOTV and SPOTV NOW.
