The professional baseball team KT Wiz ended the momentum of the LG Twins with a big inning scoring 8 runs in the first inning.

KT won 9-5 against LG at Suwon KT Wiz Park on the 2nd. LG had been on a winning streak of 7 games before this day, setting a new franchise record and remained undefeated. LG scored first in the top of the first inning with no outs and the bases loaded. However, KT turned the game around with an 8-run big inning in the bottom of the first and seized the flow of victory.

Trailing 0-1, leadoff hitter Rojas drew a walk in the bottom of the first, and Kang Baek-ho quickly tied the game at 1-1 with a double that hit the left-center field fence. Later, with one out and runners on first and second, Jang Seong-woo hit a two-RBI double that put KT ahead 3-1.

In a one-out, bases loaded situation, Bae Jeong-dae added a run with a sacrifice fly to left field, and with two outs and runners on second and third, ninth batter Kwon Dong-jin hit a double down the right field line, extending the lead to 6-1. When the lineup turned over, Rojas hit a two-run home run (his first of the season), making the score 8-1. The opposing starting pitcher Hernandez was pulled early in the first inning.

KT's starting pitcher Oh Won-seok was replaced by relief pitcher Kim Min-soo in a one-out, bases loaded crisis while leading 9-3 in the fifth.
