The Korea Baseball Softball Association hosted the ongoing matches on the 8th day of the 2025 Shinsegae Emart National High School Baseball Championship, sponsored by Shinsegae Emart and Miryang City, concluding the second round of the tournament.

Baemyeong High School clinched a ticket to the Round of 32 with an 11-9 victory against Gongju High School after a fiercely contested game that extended to the 11th inning.

In the top of the 6th inning, trailing Gongju High School 0-5, Baemyeong High School scored four runs to set the stage for a comeback, adding two more runs in the top of the 9th to take the lead, but in the bottom of the 9th, they allowed a home run to Lee Hong-Hee of Gongju High School, returning the game to level.

In the 10th extra inning, both teams exchanged two runs, leading to a tense seesaw battle. However, in the top of the 11th, with no outs and bases loaded, Jeong Yun-Jae's decisive hit (9-8) and walks to Seo Ji-Hoo and Park Kyung-Ho expanded the lead to 11-8.

In the bottom of the 11th, while conceding a sacrifice fly to Lee Hong-Hee of Gongju High School, Baemyeong High School pitcher Choi Hyun-Woo managed to protect the lead.

Masan High School reached the Round of 32 with a come-from-behind victory against Gangneung High School, finishing 7-6. In the top of the 8th, leading 6-5, a throwing error at first allowed Gangneung High School to tie the game, but in the bottom of the 9th, Lee Tae-Kang's infield single brought the runner from third home for a dramatic win.

Busan High School also defeated Jangchung High School 7-3, while Dongsan High School overwhelmed Bibong High School, scoring five runs in the 7th inning to secure a 7-3 victory and confirm their advancement to the Round of 32.

Starting from the 3rd, a fierce battle for the Round of 16 tickets will take place over two days at Mokdong. The match between Seokwang High School, which advanced by defeating last year's runner-up Jeonju High School, and Whimoon High School, which recorded cold wins in both the 1st and 2nd rounds, is drawing attention. All games will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of the Korea Baseball Softball Association.
